CRCA Chestermere Regional Minor Baseball 2010 Information   

(Indus, Langdon and the surrounding communities are welcome to join)

First Registration Day is Sat Jan 30^th at the Rec Centre MPP Rm located by the office from 10 – 1 pm.

Register on line @ www.chestermerecrca.com (Visa Only) starting Jan 27^th or at the Chestermere Rec Centre Office

Last Chance Registration Day:  Sat Feb 27^th 10 – 1  @ the Rec Centre Office   REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FEB 27^TH.   

(2009/2010 CRCA Community Memberships have been extended to June 30^th this year.  The new memberships will now

run from July 1^st to June 30^th annually.  Community Memberships are required for all CRCA programs.)

PLEASE NOTE:   ALL PARTICPANTS MUST REGISTER IN THEIR PROPER AGE GROUP.  If your child wishes to participate at a higher level or lower level, please note this on the registration form under “Special Requests”. Age division moves will be based on availability in the requested age group and coaches recommendations.  

T- Ball:   2005/2006 Tues & Thurs   Mid April  - June  24^th Prairie Waters Field  

Cost:  $100.00    Tues & Thurs   Times: 6:15 – 7:30    10 - 12 players per team   T-shirts provided.

3 Teams will practice per Ball Diamond (20 min batting, 20 minutes infield & 20 min practice in the off field)

The Baseball Alberta Rally Cap Program will be available for coaches as a resource.

Coach Pitch   2003/2004   Mid April   – June 24^th    Prairie Waters Diamond 

Cost:  $100.00     Tues & Thurs   Times 6:15 – 7:30    8 – 10  players per team     T-shirts provided.

3 Teams will practice per Ball Diamond (20 min batting, 20 minutes infield & 20 min practice in the off field)

Rookie   2001/2002 Mid April – End of June    Prairie Waters Diamond

Cost: $130.00     Mon & Wed   6 – 7:15 or 7:15 – 8:30 and possibly Sun evening (may vary slightly depending on #’s)           

11 - 13 players per team   Ball shirt provided      Players supply own socks/pants.

Games are played with a Pitching Machine.  

One game and 1 or 2 practices per week depending on diamond availability

We are may start a House League just in Chestermere or with Strathmore, Langdon, Indus and Carseland.

Training for coaches will be offered.  There may be an opportunity to form a Summer Traveling Team.

Mosquito   1999/2000  Mid April – End of June      Cost: $175.00

11 - 13 players per team   Play in the Rocky View League    Ball shirt provided   Players supply own socks/pants.  Playing time is probably 2 - 1.5 hour practices and 1 - 2 hour game per week   Travel to out of town games.

Peewee   1997/1998  Cost:  $185.00 Mid April – End of June

11 – 13 players per team   Play in the Rocky View League   Ball shirt provided   Players supply own socks/pants.

Playing time is probably 1 practice per week and 2 games per week (generally one home and one away)

There will be travel to out of town games.

Costs include: league fees, program administration, pictures, wind up parties/tournaments, medals for coach pitch and tball, diamond costs, shirts, equipment and supplies, coaching development and referees.
