· New! Full Version Red Ribbon + Activity Booklet 2011
· New competitions in all Children and Youth Sections – $600 in prizes for artwork in the Youth Open Section sponsored by Gary Holmes Barker. See details under Judging, Prizes and Pie Auction.
· Best Baked with Honey competition
· Gluten-Free baking competition
· Old Fashioned Pie Auction (tentative)– Funds raised will go to Chestermere Ag Society and the Chestermere Food Bank. The auctioneer will be courtesy of Graham Auctioneers: www.grahamauctions.com
· Return of the popular ‘View from the Top’ – Enjoy Wine and Cheese Tasting and watch the Red Ribbon Judging starting at 7:00 pm in the Curling Rink Lounge.
· ‘Preserving our Skills’ – Learn a skill that harkens to our pioneer days in Chestermere. This event will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Chestermere Regional Community Centre.
